We have already been here for 4 months! Wow does time fly...
Word of the day:
"Kit"
A large piece of machinery... While (whilst) traveling yesterday, one of my colleagues pointed to a 747 and said, "My, isn't that an amazing piece of kit."
Guys your trip to Amsterdam sounds fantastic! How are things otherwise? Sounds like you are both really enjoying your experience in London.
All is well on this end- Cormac arrived Wed., my parents last night, and Hugh/Joan/Brady parents to arrive next friday. Christening baby next weekend. Really excited!!

Isn't kit also what is used to describe a 'football' shirt? Like a Man U kit? I always thought that was so strange!
Never heard of that... but I can't remember the last time I shopped for a Football tee.
The only way I think of Kit is when Kat comes after it. (i know that was corny)
Maybe he just made it up to mess with you :)
All I have to say - Knight Rider!

Hence the expression ..... "get yer kit off". Used in the context of two consenting adults.
I think the word originated from the army where it described a soldier's uniform and equipment.
