Word of the day (well, it's not a new word, but its widespread use of it is new to me):
Calling everyone "love"
It's mostly done by men talking to women... even around the office... I hear, "Is that fine love? You ok love?"

Get to certain parts of England, such as Sheffield and I think Nottingham and you find that 'Love' gets replaced by 'Duck'! Now what's that all about
And in the West of Scotland it will be replaced by "hen".
