A year ago today...
...we left our family, friends, and all that was familiar to move across the "pond." We landed with 8 bags, a street map of London, a lot of excitement, and no place to live. After a few weeks of searching, we found the flat that was to become our home. And, after a year, it has finally become just that: home. We return from all of our trips with the anticipation of being back in London. We even smile at the "characters" around Earl's court. And though our flat is small, and cramped, and the couch is uncomfortable, and the sink leaks... it's still ours :)
It has been a wonderful year full of traveling, new friends, and a lot of life lessons. We still miss CT and everyone there, and we look forward to being back with you all soon. But we're thankful that London has been so kind to us.
