BAP Day 2007
My wife, Beth (Beth Ann Poglitsch (maiden name) = BAP) is celebrating the Big 30 on Tuesday... She insisted on no surprise parties... (possibly because despite her efforts, my surprise 30th was not really a "surprise?")...
Anyway, I treated her to a day of London activities that are right down her alley.
She was given 4 envelopes to reveal the itinerary...
4 envelopes packed with activities...thank you PwC for the recycled envelopes (I know... I'm all class)
9AM - Horse riding in Hyde Park with Hyde Park Stables
Beth is as happy as can be...
Leaving for activity #2
12:30 PM - "Couples Massage" at Savana Urban Spa in Notting Hill. Ok, so it's not my birthday and I got to enjoy it too. I think I would lose an arm wrestle to the lady that gave me a message... Holy deep tissue!
Cafe style lunch at Ottomezzo Lounge in Notting Hill (this one was not planned but it worked out well)
Activity 3# - Shopping trip at Selfridges. I guess there were two inherent treats in this envelope being the cash that was put in the envelope and my willingness and volunteering to go shop for bags and shoes.

Activity #4, Gaucho Grill. Actually, we planned (and I had reserved) to dine at Le Gavroche... however, after looking at the online menu together, we decided that that level of shiii-shiiness and whitegloveness was not necessary... Gaucho Grill was great! And I finally had a great steak in London! (actually, Smith's on my 30th was good too)

Thanks guys. I've got one more day to be 29 and I'm holding on with all I've got!
What a great way to celebrate! It's funny to see how Rino enjoyed the birthday privileges as well.
