We spent last weekend enjoying the sites of London. It was a warm sunny weekend that just beckoned us to be outside. So, Saturday we decided to spend the afternoon at the zoo, in Camden town, and then we had a show booked for the evening. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
The Zoo was fun, Camden is always a blast, but the show left a bit to be desired. We saw a Midsummer Night's Dream. Perhaps if either of us actually read the play, it would have made more sense. But we didn't. Now, Shakespeare is difficult to understand in the best circumstances... but just for fun, they decided that half the show would be in other languages like Hindi and Sanskrit. Really. Well, I actually did enjoy the setting, the music and the acting. Rino would probably disagree. Some pix below...

Last of the Italy Pics
See below for pics from Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, and Pompei.
Ravello - It's situated up a 5KM windy road from Amalfli. It must have been a pain to get this statue up there.
More Ravello
Fri, April 13 was our 5 year anniversary. We went to a nice restaurant in Sorrento overlooking the bay of Naples.
Saturday was the only rainy day during the whole trip. This is Pompei - Almost 2,000 years ago a volcano buried it. This is one of the main streets.
More Pompei
Lobby in our B&B
Positano
As promised - more pics of our Italy trip.
On Tuesday of last week we went to Positano. While there, we saw Colin Farrell. Unlike other tourists, we tried to give him his space and thus, I have no pictures to share of him. I know how he must feel on holiday, when everyone is trying to follow him around. It's kind of like me... I hear all the time - "Hey, It's that guy from the UK Blog website - let's get his picture." Well, a slight exaggeration I guess.
Back from Italia
We're back... since last writing in Rome, we went south to the Amalfi Coast. We based ourselves in Sorrento for six days and hit Capri, Pasitano, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompei, and Sorrento itself. We were very lucky with the weather - mid 70's and sunny every day except one. It's probably the most scenic and dramatic coast we've ever seen... hard to take a bad picture - in fact, we took over 300. With that said, I'm going to post pics over the next few days... starting with Capri (and one other from Rome that I thought was cool).

Guess where? Capri.
Happy Easter from Roma
Mozzarella, pasta, Chianti, and today, (because we gave chocolate up for lent), chocolate gelato.
This morning we woke up early and trooped out with the crowds to attend mass at St. Peter's Square... We turned up early enough to secure a relatively close spot - and we saw the pope!
Enjoy the pics.
